The Water Department is responsible for turning water on, processing water bills and payments. If you have a question, water leak or need your water turned off, call City Hall at 979-871-0190 during Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. If it’s an emergency and after hours or on the weekend, call the Police Department at 979-239-1211.
Your water payment and late fees are as follows:
Bill is due: 5th of each month (normally)
$10 Late Fee: 13th of each month
Cut off: after 4:00pm on the 20th of the month
Residents need to check the due dates on their bill to ensure the correct dates.
If you are having a problem making a payment, please contact us. You may sign up for autodraft to ensure your water payments are made on time. You may always make payments in the night drop located on the Cherry Street side of City Hall.
New customers can visit this website to get water turned on.
Payments made in the night drop after 4pm are still considered late if it’s the day the bill is due.
Utility Billing During COVID 19
Washing hands and cleaning surfaces remains important, so the city will not discontinue water service for anyone through the duration of the Stay Safe at Home Orders; however, outstanding bills will not be waived.
